Summary
We created a bespoke fitness app for Puma that connected their users through curated workouts and events. As an in pocket AI, the app acted as a personal trainer and connected people, events, workouts, and apparel.
PROBLEM
Puma is widley known for apparel and accessories. As a brand, Puma wanted to connect with their customers in a more experientially focused and powerful way. To achieve this goal we re built PUMATRAC alongside them.
Contribution
Results
We re imagined and re built an application that is now used in over 120 countries globally. The new app has created a deeper customer relationship between PUMA and it’s customers. With over 800k users, the app continues to grow as a competitor in the fitness app landscape.
Research
Key Findings:
The importance of redesigning the app tour to increase length of time spent in app and retention.
Messaging strategies and timed notifications greatly re-engaged users.
While analyzing our findings, we discovered that over 45% of our users were skipping the app tour during the on boarding process. We identified a solution to create Opportunity cards for App Tour features that would be introduced to users at different times and in different app sessions.
