Summary

Lucy is a customer experience company that utilises chatbot technology  to receive feedback by for their clients. We were tasked with designing a dashboard to gather and communicate market research, business metrics, and campaign results for their clients in one place.

Problem

They want a solution to help them do so efficiently and effectively engage with their customers while adding value to the service that they offer.

 
 

Making the Dashboard an essential marketing tool that Lucy offered as both a product and a service to better inform their client’s business decisions and be used for clients across different industries in the future.

 
 

Research

After consulting with the founders of the company, we did preliminary research to familiarize ourselves with their client, Maven’s, to understand their positioning currently and understand where we could add value to them. We followed this with stakeholder interview with Maven’s which gave us more insight on their business goals and their needs.

Maven’s Creamery, which was our case study for Lucy, wanted to receive key social media metrics that helped them understand their customer base, where they lived and which platforms they were using to engage with Maven’s.

 

By using keywords one can find out:

  • Popularity of a word or topic

  • Trending hashtags

  • Locations

  • Psychographics and demographics

We sketched simple user flows to understand our different features would interact with one another and to better understand how Christine would navigate through the dashboard. From there we developed a global navigation system and site map.

We presented our clients with recommendations going forward for their new dashboard.

  • The feasibility of acquiring these tools and incorporating client metrics in the future

  • Consider leveraging the chatbot within the dashboard as a assistance/ help feature

  • Driving up engagement on Lucy’s side as they grow as a company

  • We have built a good foundation for Lucy  to build on as they expand in the future
