Summary
We created an order ahead mobile solution to serve independent coffee shops around the country. Starting with order ahead and loyalty, we were also able to provide marketing and growth solutions as a part of our platform.
PROBLEM
Independent coffee shops want an easy and affordable solution to provide mobile order ahead for their customers. Nothing existed in the market specifically focused on coffee that could allow them to target the on the go channel.
CONTRIBUTION
Results
I was the first and only designer at joe. For version 1 and version 2 of the app, I designed the dashboards for coffeeshops to enable them to easily integrate our order ahead and loyalty solution into their already established systems and flows. On the consumer side of the app, I designed the product landing page as well as the consumer success experience from purchase to in app and email receipt.
Research
Key Findings
Our order ahead and loyalty solution for coffee shops had to deeply consider the needs of general managers for sales reporting as well as employee tipping. Equally important to consider, was designing an interface that helped the barista flow experience during rush periods.
Better and easier access to sales data visualizations directly correlated with an increase in coffee shop promotion and customer acquisition.
